Overview

Waiter / Hospitality Assistant at Baxter Storey — London Bridge, London, UK.

Salary: £14.17 / hour.
Responsibilities
• Welcome and seat guests in a warm and professional manner.

• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.

• Serve meals and drinks with attention to detail and presentation.

• Maintain a clean and tidy dining area, including tables and service stations.

• Respond promptly to guest enquiries and requests.

• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery.

• Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards.

• Assist in setting up and breaking down dining areas for events or functions.

• Contribute to a positive team environment and support colleagues as needed.

Qualifications
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.

• Strong communication abilities, both verbal and written.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.

• Keen attention to detail and commitment to high standards of service.

• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry trays of food and drinks.

• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Basic maths skills for handling cash and processing payments.

• Previous experience in hospitality or food service is preferred but not essential.

• Ability to work in London, United Kingdom.
