Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Site Manager to lead premium garden build projects across multiple sites.

You will be responsible for running 2- 3 residential garden builds at once and hold every one of them to the standard the design promised, on time, on budget, and finished to a level clients rave about.

You must have at least 10 years' hands-on construction experience, on the tools.

We want someone who's laid the paving, poured the footings, built the walls and run the trades, and has now stepped up to run sites because they know exactly what "right" looks like and won't accept anything less.

Responsibilities
• Run multiple live garden builds at once, planning each one, sequencing the team and keeping them all moving without the wheels coming off.
• Set foot on every site regularly, spot problems before they become expensive, and fix them on the spot.
• Hold the standard.

Read the design and technical drawings, and make sure what gets built matches them to the millimetre from levels, to falls, to setting out, and the finish.
• Manage subcontractors and trades: brief them properly, hold them to programme and quality, and pull them up when it's not good enough.
• Own site health & safety - RAMS, inductions, a tidy, safe, professional site every single day.
• Keep materials, deliveries and plant arriving at the right site at the right time, with no expensive standing-around.
• Be the calm, professional face on site when a client walks out to look because how the site looks is how the brand looks.
• Report progress simply and honestly where each job is, what's next, what's at risk.

Skills
• 10+ years on the tools in landscaping, hard-landscaping or related construction – as in you've done the work, not just watched it.
• Proven at running more than one site at a time without letting any of them slip.
• A stickler for finish and detail where you notice the 3mm nobody else does, and you care about it.
• Straight-talking and respected by trades – you’ll be firm, fair, and impossible to blag.
• Organised and forward-planning — you're three steps ahead, not firefighting.
• Safety-first, with the tickets to prove it (SMSTS/SSSTS, CSCS, First Aid ideal… or ready to get them).
• Full UK driving licence — you'll be moving between sites.
