We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team, responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in a Junior School.

The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail and a proactive attitude to ensure environments are safe, tidy, and welcoming.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with previous cleaning experience or those eager to develop their skills in commercial cleaning.

There will also be opportunity for extra hours

Duties
• Perform thorough cleaning of offices, classrooms, corridors, restrooms, and communal areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Ensure all surfaces are sanitised and free from dust, dirt, and stains.
• Empty rubbish bins and dispose of waste responsibly.
• Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand towels, and soap dispensers as needed.
• Follow health and safety protocols at all times to maintain a secure working environment.
• Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly.
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the shift to meet client expectations.

Requirements

An enhanced DBS is essential
• Previous experience in commercial cleaning work is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently within designated timeframes.
• Good organisational skills and reliability.
• Physical ability to perform cleaning duties, including lifting and moving equipment or supplies as required.
• A proactive attitude towards safety and cleanliness standards.
