Location: Wolverhampton & Stone ( multisite role due to service expansion )
Salary: Up to £49,000 per annum + Benefits
Hours: Full-Time

Shift Pattern: Monday–Friday (with flexibility)
Travel: Community Travel required

About the Role:

Smartcall Specialist Healthcare is proud to be recruiting for a Clinical Services Lead Nurse on behalf of a well-established, high-quality complex care provider.

Due to continued growth and expansion, this is a dual-site leadership role, overseeing clinical services across Wolverhampton and Stone branches.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and ambitious Registered General Nurse (RGN) to step into a senior leadership position where you will shape clinical standards, drive service excellence, and play a pivotal role in developing both services.

What You’ll Be Doing

As Clinical Services Lead, you will act as the clinical expert and leader across both branches, ensuring the highest standards of care for adults with complex and long-term conditions in the community.

Key responsibilities include:
• Providing strategic and operational clinical leadership across two branches.

• Working closely with Branch Managers to ensure safe, effective service delivery.

• Leading on clinical governance, service development, and quality improvement initiatives.

• Supporting business growth, including involvement in clinical tenders.

• Delivering and overseeing training, mentorship, and competency assessments.

• Assessing staff in specialist skills including:.

• Tracheostomy & ventilated care.

• Gastrostomy (PEG) care.

• Suctioning & cough assist.

• Diabetes & epilepsy management.

• Complex bowel care.

• Supporting staff and clients in complex or escalated clinical situations.

• Driving innovation and evidence-based practice across both locations.

What We're Looking For:

Essential:
• Registered General Nurse (RGN) with active NMC registration.

• Significant post-registration experience in adult complex care.

• Advanced clinical competency in:.

• Tracheostomy care.

• Ventilation.

• PEG feeding.

• Complex neurological/physical conditions.

• Proven experience in training, mentoring, and competency assessment.

• Strong leadership and management experience.

• Ability to work autonomously and across multiple sites.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Desirable:
• Experience supporting service growth or multi-site operations.

• Leadership or management qualification.

• Evidence of continued professional development or postgraduate study.

Requirements
• Right to work in the UK (no s p o n s o r s h i p available).

• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain).

• Willingness to travel regularly between Wolverhampton and Stone.
