Key Responsibilities
• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, degreasing, sanding, and masking according to specifications.
• Apply industrial coatings, primers, and paints using various methods including brushes, rollers, and potentially spray equipment (with training).
• Mix and match paint colours and types accurately as per job requirements and technical data sheets.
• Inspect finished surfaces for quality, ensuring even coating, proper thickness, and absence of defects.
• Maintain painting equipment and tools, ensuring they are clean, in good working order, and stored properly.
• Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
• Assist with material handling, storage, and inventory management for paints and related supplies.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
• Undergo and actively participate in all provided training programs and safety inductions.
• Report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or quality issues promptly to supervision.
