The role will be centred at home and in the community of Eyemouth supporting all aspects of her daily routine, accessing any activities/clubs, shopping, following and encouraging her interests, and helping her to engage with the local community.

A driving licence is desirable;

a car is available for use when out and about.

Applications for relief or part of the support hours are welcomed.
Terms:

• £14.05 per hour.
• Paid annual leave entitlement of 5.6 weeks pro rata
• Probationary period of 3 months.

• To support a disabled young person to ensure their safety and well-being.

• To support with social outings and community engagement.

• To interact with the client and keep them entertained with activities they enjoy in their local community and own home.
• To maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the client's equipment and surroundings.

• To develop a positive relationship with the young person and her family.
• To work alongside a parent or another member of the team when required but to work independently too.

• To support with personal care needs as required on occasion.

• Full driving licence is desirable as the client has her own car that will be used during support times.
