Duties
• Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency and high-quality food production.

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes while adhering to recipes and presentation standards.

• Supervise and manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills.

• Maintain food safety standards in accordance with health regulations.

• Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service delivery.

• Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients.

• Monitor inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock.

• Train new kitchen staff on procedures, cooking techniques, and safety protocols.

Qualifications
• Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant or hospitality setting.

• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary arts.

• Demonstrated supervisory experience with the ability to lead a team effectively.

• Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in food presentation.

• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.

• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.

• Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and management.

• A passion for cooking and creating exceptional dining experiences.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £13.50-£19.07 per hour
