Job Title: Paint Plant – Powder Coat sprayer

Department Production – Paint Plant

Location: Lytham

Reporting to: Powder Paint Plant Supervisor

Overall Job Purpose:

· Working as part of a team to powder coat a variety of metal materials with manual and

automated spraying booth in batch sizes from 1 to 1000, to a high quality finish, maximising

plant efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

· Maintaining high quality standards at all times for standard and bespoke products

· Active contribution in maximising plant efficiency

· Proactive communication with supervisors, managers and Quality Control regarding

production, quality and H&S issues.

· Maintaining a clean and tidy work area

· Maintaining H&S standards following instructions and wearing of appropriate PPE

General Requirements

· Previous experience of working on a busy paint production line

· Regular quality checks including visual and taking measurements

· Completing paperwork

Qualifications/Courses/Experience:

· Previous experience obtained in a manufacturing environment

Essential Skills:

· Able to work under own initiative and on occasion under pressure whilst adhering to strict

deadlines and demands

· Strong problem solving skills

· Good communication skills, both written and verbal

· Operational Fault Finding and problem solving

· Work independently and part of a team.

· Deliver results, deliver improved performance.

· Demonstrate commercial awareness

· Manage self, working/assisting colleagues obtaining their involvement and buy in

Working a 37 hour week Monday to Thursday.

Subject to demand different working arrangements may on occasion be required.

Pay: £14.00 per hour
